Bill sailed a Thistle in his youth so he wanted to perfect the sails in this class, first. Again, after evaluating
the class rules, and applying his rare design knowledge, he changed the class forever. The Gus main is
huge up top and the jib is flatter than the competitions to help control the Thistle's powerful sailplan. Gus
Sails customers have won Multiple Midwinters and National Championships as well as every major
regional event. Gus Sails customer Bruce King rarely sails. He is a family man and a business man. He
sails far less than others he battles against. Still, his record is next to no ones, winning or finishing second at
most Midwinters and Nationals he attends.
